Every now and again a client will say they would rather not have their images published on social media. It is, of course, a little sad for me as my work is visual, but I always respect my clients' wishes. So, as I can't share my most recent photo sesssion, I thought I'd post a selection from my ongoing personal project, which is the documentation of my daughters' childhood. Enjoy ;)
Spring has sprung | Stockholm barn fotograf
It's arrived! Spring has sprung in Sweden! The days are getting longer and the, what seems like never-ending, darkness of the long Swedish winter has receded at last. Can I hear a "HALLELUJAH"?!
Away
You know you've missed the point of going away and staying in a hotel with the family, when all you can think about is 'new locations, new photo opportunities'! :)
Happy St Patrick's Day!
In case you didn't know, I'm Irish. 100% born, bred and buttered in the wild west of Ireland. From the time I was approximately eight years old and I first saw the Acropolis of Athens in a school book, I knew I wanted to travel and explore the world. Thankfully, I have managed to check off the Acropolis from my 'to see' list, and have had many more adventures along the way, including living in London for eight years. Back in 2008 my husband and I decided to shake things up a bit (OK, a lot!) by starting a new life in Sweden. And here we are. For now. I still consider Ireland to be my real home though. Although I have changed, and Ireland has certainly changed too, I still miss the warmth and friendliness of Irish people. So, today, St Patrick's Day, I am going to think about Ireland and its people, I'm going to listen to The Pogues and The Wolfe Tones and later this evening, I will raise a glass to my Irish friends and family around the world. Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!
