Moa's tree | Stockholm children's photography

Last week was an emotional one for me.  I am still grieving the loss of a loved one and some weeks are tougher than others.  When I'm feeling like this, I'll typically do one of two things: work quietly in my office, largely avoiding other people, or I'll take my camera and a willing daughter and I'll make some pictures.  I've noticed recently that most of my favourite personal images involve a swing.  To me, a swing is childhood personified.  This swing happens to be underneath my friend Moa's beautiful old tree, just a hop, skip and a jump away.

London town

The week before last the Jolly family went to London for five days.  And what an action packed five days it was!  We stayed with family and had a blast with my fun-lovin' aunts, uncle and cousins.  The girls experienced several firsts during our few days there: first time to see the London Eye, Hamley's and Big Ben, first time on the Tube, first time on a double-decker and first time to try sushi.  We caught up with old friends and basically just enjoyed being tourists in pulsating London.  Good times.
