There we were on one of our many evening walks, when we happened upon a timid little vole. My animal-lovin' little girl ever so gently picked it up and carefully placed it in the long grass. Not before, however, she tried to persuade her mother to hold it. And let me tell you, ain't no way that was going to happen!
